Ros Canter, the 2018 eventing world champion, has won the British Equestrian Writers' Association rider of the year award.
Canter, who is based in Lincolnshire, captured individual and team gold at the World Equestrian Games in the United States.
She became only Britain's fifth eventing world champion since 1966, while she also joined forces with Gemma Tattersall, Piggy French and Tom McEwen for team honours.
BEWA's lifetime achievement award went to double Olympic showjumping bronze medallist and former world and European champion David Broome.
And showjumper Harry Charles - son of London 2012 Olympic team gold medallist Peter Charles - won the Worshipful Company of Saddlers' young rider rider of the year award, with Prime Warden James Welch making the presentation.
Current world champion Sophie Wells won para-dressage rider of the year - a new award sponsored by Dodson & Horrell - showjumper William Funnell took moment of the year after winning his fourth Hickstead Derby, and the British Equestrian Federation's media award went to Lucy Elder, of Horse and Hound.
The Barbara Cooper Trophy, on behalf of Burghley, was presented by Lucinda Green to young eventer Imogen Murray.
More than 130 people attended the lunch at Olympia's Pillar Hall, and it proved to be a great success.
